The REX REX GRAVELER Twenty Kids Bike 20" is a bicycle of the category: children´s bike
Children's bikes are available with wheel sizes from 12 to 24 inches and have to meet special safety and riding requirements and be as good as possible on the road. Bikes for children are usually lightweight, stable, sturdy, and durable so that the little ones can continue having fun on them for as long as possible. A bicycle should be chosen that is adapted to the child's abilities and level of development. Important criteria of a child's bike are: good brakes, lighting system, reflectors, non-slip pedals, and edge and chain protection.
For young children, attention should be paid to a low bar to make it easier to mount, especially when they're first learning to ride. Wide, sturdy tires make the child's bike more supportive and stabilise them. In addition, good brakes on a bicycle are especially important for children.
Teens might ride a 26-inch bike or a bike for adults. 26-inch wheels are ideal bikes for young people who want to grow along with their bikes for a while. Although the bicycles for the youth are very similar to the mountain bikes or trekking bikes for adults, junior bicycles are often fitted with street-safe equipment with light systems, good brakes, robust tires, and often also mudguards and luggage carriers.
