AEG has been building electric motors for a wide range of applications for decades and has built a reputation for itself with many products, from drills to rail locomotives. We are now collaborating to develop high-quality e-bikes with a unique design and future-proof engine technology.
AEG e-bike mid-mounted engine for all!
Powerful & dynamic – the AEG SportDrive e-bike drive is made for sporty riders who like to push their limits on e-bikes while enjoying powerful assist with a long range. The powerful 48 V mid-mounted engine with downtube battery makes every mountain conquerable, even under a heavy load. The mid-mounted motor delivers consistently optimal support thanks to a sensor to measure your pedalling cadence and speed. You also have your choice of five coordinated levels of assist.
Our powerhouse – the TRIO rear-wheel motor
Direct drive for those who also like to ride off-road. The powerful 48 V rear-wheel engine delivers 250 watts and a torque of 42 Nm.

The TRIO rear-wheel motor offers even more riding pleasure at an unbeatable price. Thanks to new motor and controller technologies, we have succeeded in producing a small, lightweight, and almost noiseless system.
AEG LCD display
The large e-bike LCD display offers a wealth of information that's very readable even as you ride along. It also offers a USB port to charge your smartphone or other device. The exclusive ProKey chip technology provides clever protection for your e-bike. It's needed to turn on the e-bike and, in conjunction with the proLock, to unlock the frame lock. It also functions as an electronic immobiliser to ensure protection against theft.
AEG e-bike battery technology
For different frame geometries and applications from comfortable to sporty, various battery systems with capacities between 374 and 600 Wh are available. Depending on the frame, the batteries are positioned on the down tube or behind the seat tube.
